Inspired by childhood memories of watching classic television with my older brother, The Wandering Man Tee Shirt pays tribute to the storytelling, mystery, music, and vintage Americana that made classic television such a memorable part of my life.
Featuring original artwork by Lily Gómez, this design was created as part of the Traveling Through Another Dimension Collection and draws inspiration from the classic television episode "Come Wander with Me." Inspired by original mid-century concert flyers and music handbills, I created this artwork by imagining what a promotional poster for Floyd Burney, the self-proclaimed "Rock-A-Billy Kid," might have looked like if it had been printed during the rockabilly era.
Blending vintage music culture, retro graphic design, and classic television influences, The Wandering Man Tee Shirt celebrates the enduring connection between rockabilly music, Americana, and the stories that continue to inspire us decades later.
