Minnie Headband - Black Hair Scarf Headband | Lil' Lou Lou

Inspired by one of my favorite gals, Minnie Mouse, the Minnie Headband was designed in 2013 as my interpretation of a pre-tied vintage hair scarf.

Vintage scarves have long been a staple accessory worn throughout the 1940s, 1950s, and beyond, but achieving the perfect tied look can take practice. The Minnie Headband was created to capture the feminine silhouette of a beautifully tied scarf while offering the convenience of a comfortable pull-on headband.

The fabric band was patterned to mimic the gathered folds and scrunched appearance created when a vintage scarf is wrapped around the head, while the oversized side bow recreates the look of a perfectly styled scarf bow. The result is a headband that slips on in seconds while delivering a polished vintage-inspired look.
