Kids Jivin' Skirt Rocket Print | Circle Skirt for Girls

The Kids Jivin' Skirt was created after customers began requesting a children's version of the original Lil' Lou Lou Jivin' Skirt. While inspired by the adult design, I chose a lighter circle-skirt silhouette rather than simply scaling down the original pattern.

At the time, I was spending a lot of time with my nieces and nephews and paying close attention to how children moved, played, and interacted with their clothing. I wanted a skirt that felt comfortable and lightweight while still creating the beautiful twirl that kids love. The result is a vintage-inspired circle skirt designed for movement, play, and plenty of spinning.

This version features the 3...2...1 Liftoff! print from the Rocket Science Collection, originally released in 2015. Inspired by retro space-age themes and mid-century fascination with rockets and space exploration, the collection celebrated the playful optimism and imagination of the Atomic Age. The colorful rocket print quickly became a favorite among little vintage lovers and their families.

Made from 100% cotton, the Kids Jivin' Skirt features a full circle silhouette with an elasticized back waistband for comfort and ease of movement. Whether paired with a petticoat for extra fullness or worn on its own, it's designed to be twirl-worthy while remaining comfortable enough for everyday adventures.

Produced in a small production run, these are among the final skirts available in the 3...2...1 Liftoff! print. Once the remaining pieces find their new homes, this print will be retired to the Lil' Lou Lou Vault.
